Dear students and parents,
Please take a look at the document below for the list of students who are eligible for the make-up assessment.
For students who are applying for the make-up exam, please fill out the attached applying for and send it to the academic affairs section before 5 pm, Wednesday, July 10th, 2024.
The followings are the subjects that will be doing a paper make-up exam on the morning of Monday, July 15:
- Grade 7-Language Arts
The followings are the subjects that require students to complete an alternative assessment:
- For Grade 7 and Grade 8 computer science (CS), students should redo any work for the semester that they did not get a passing grade (60%) on. This includes completing handouts (which should already be done), organizing their portfolio (which should already be done), and revising their projects (which should already be done); this work, should be done to a 90% standard to be given a “pass” since it is all revision. Students should already have all of the necessary materials, including in-class handouts, tables of contents for portfolios, and project rubrics.
- For Grade 8 social studies, students should redo any work for the semester that they did not get a passing grade (60%) on. This includes completing reading checks, graphic organizers, and social studies skills projects; if they did not pass the original, they will do a modified version of the original assessment, which they can complete with their textbook or other resources.
