【轉知】IBSC 2025 Culture Points Program for Students Aged 13-22

To encourage youth participation in arts and cultural activities, expand cultural experiences, and promote the development of arts and cultural industries, the Ministry of Culture has been issuing Culture Points since 2023. These points can be used for viewing performances, purchasing books, visiting museums, and participating in DIY arts and cultural consumption discounts. This year (2025), Culture Points continue to be issued to individuals aged 16-22, with each person receiving 1,200 Culture Points. Additionally, trial points are being promoted for ages 13-15, with each person receiving 600 Culture Points (1 point equals 1 NT dollar). The usage period is from January 1, 2025 to December 31, 2025.

Information regarding Culture Points is as follows:

(I) Eligibility and Amount: Ages 13-22 (born between January 1, 2003 and December 31, 2012), including ROC nationals and eligible foreign nationals.

(II) How to Receive: Download the “Culture Points” APP on your mobile phone, complete registration and identity verification. After verification is complete, it can be used immediately. If you cannot provide the required documents, please contact Culture Points customer service for assistance.

(III) How to Use: During the period from January 1, 2025 to December 31, 2025, discounts can be applied at participating arts and cultural consumption venues nationwide.

(IV) Applicable Consumption: Can be used at museums, concert halls, performances, bookstores, record stores, movie theaters, libraries, song halls, creative parks or markets, handicraft DIY or cultural experience courses. There are over 15,000 participating arts and cultural consumption venues across 22 counties and cities nationwide.

(V) Usage Benefits:

1. Independent bookstore point multiplier: When shopping at stores with “本店適用獨立書店點數放大專案” identification, you can earn a point for every 2 points spent, with up to 50% cashback of annual Culture Points usage.

2. Performance and art venue youth discounts: Venues that have signed cooperation agreements provide “youth discounts” in designated areas or “youth seats,” as well as optional “50% self-selected seats.”

3. Group movie viewing: For group movie viewing, when purchasing movie tickets with Culture Points totaling 350 points or more, you can receive an additional 100 cashback points. Points must be accumulated and redeemed by September 15. Spending 350 points gets you 200 points back.

4. Culture Points consumption and Culture Points drawing: Spending 200 points gets you one lottery entry.

5. Invitation for friends and cashback: After successfully inviting friends to receive Culture Points for the first time, you can receive 30 points cashback. After that, they can get 10 points for each friend they invite. There is no upper limit to the reward.
