【轉知】IBSC 2025 UN SDGs STEAM Science Summer Camp
  1. This activity encourages students to engage with UN Sustainable Development Goals and science, emphasizing students’ oral expression abilities in both Chinese and English. It aims to expand international perspectives, enhance teamwork and execution capabilities, and cultivate confidence and proactive spirit. This activity is in its second year and has been selected as featured content on the Ministry of Education’s K-12 International Education Information Network.
  2. Our association will lead the delegation to San Francisco, USA for international exchange. Students will participate in Project-based Learning (PBL) focused on UN Sustainable Development Goals and STEAM subjects. The itinerary includes visits to the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in San Francisco, Stanford University, UC Berkeley, Silicon Valley landmarks, and San Francisco attractions. Students will also interact with San Francisco State University students. Upon completion, participants will receive a certificate from San Francisco State University.
  3. The 2025 summer camp has two sessions:
    • First Session: July 6 (Sun) – July 19 (Sat)
    • Second Session: July 20 (Sun) – August 2 (Sat)
  4. San Francisco State University, part of the California State University system, is renowned nationwide for its biological sciences and physical therapy programs. Located adjacent to Silicon Valley, the world’s most famous tech hub, the university comprises seven colleges: College of Science & Engineering, College of Professional & Global Education, Lam Family College of Business, College of Education, College of Health & Social Sciences, College of Creative Arts, and College of Ethnic Studies. With over 100 majors and programs, it ranks 96th among top public universities in the United States.
  5. The summer camp features a strong faculty team, including professors and lecturers from San Francisco State University and UC Berkeley. This program is suitable for current 10th to 12th-grade students. Please find the detailed program brochure attached, and we encourage eligible students from your school to apply.
