【公告】2023 AP Exam Reminders

Dear students,

Annual AP exam is around the corner, it’s the time to let your effort paid off. Hope you are ready and well prepared!
Please read carefully about the following exam reminders, and complete the terms and conditions before the exam. In addition, we have also emailed the payment details to each student, please view the content and finish the payment before the testing day.

  • Masks are mandatory for all students and staff during AP exams, and students must wear them throughout the test or risk being denied entry to the test center.
  • Students must confirm a series of statements prior to entering the test center or testing room. Check the Ap Exam Terms and Conditions.
  • It is advisable that students who do not comply with the guidelines established by the College Board be asked to leave the test center; in the event of such an occurrence, their scores will be invalidated, and they will not be eligible for a refund.

Required Items for Paper and Pencil Testing :

  • Two sharpened No.2 pencils (with erasers)
  • 2 pens with black or dark blue ink. 
  • A watch that does not have internet access, beep or make noise, or have an alarm. 
  • Up to 2 approved calculators with the necessary capabilities if you are taking an AP Biology, AP Calculus, AP Chemistry, AP Environmental Science, AP Physics, or AP Statistics Exam.

  • A ruler or straightedge only if you are taking an AP Physics Exam. Protractors are not allowed. 
  • A current government issued or school issued photo ID/passport if you do not attend IBSC where you are taking the AP Exam. 

Student Should NOT bring (Prohibited Items)

  • Electronic equipment including phones, smartwatches, fitness trackers, wearable technology, cameras, recording or listening devices, or any other type of electronic or communication device. 
  • School-owned and school-controlled digital recording devices are allowed only for the AP French, AP German, AP Italian, and AP Spanish Language and Culture Exams, and the AP Music Theory Exam. 
  • Books, reference guides, notes, compasses, protractors, mechanical pencils, pencils that are not No. 2, correction fluid, dictionaries, highlighters, or colored pencils.
  • Papers of any kind. Scratch paper will be provided.
  • Watches that beep, make a noise, or have an alarm. 
  • Computers or calculators that are not approved. 
  • Reference guides, keyboard maps, or other typing instructions.
  • Ear plugs.
  • Food or drink.
  • Clipboards

* The 1st floor of the administration building (the lobby) may serve as the resting area. Please remember to arrive at the testing venue at least 10-15 minutes earlier. Non IBSC students can not enter into other buildings.
