Dear parents, teachers, and students,

IBSC not only focuses on students’ collaboration and cooperation skills, we also want to build each student to have independent research ability. Following that learning goal, IBSC has managed to establish our very small but vigorous annual science fair. The first and second year, we asked our G7-G12 students to start from observing, coming up with an hypothesis, and using affordable and approachable experimental methods to “solve the problems”. It’s a project that may incorporate physics, biology, and chemistry courses. Starting from last academic year, with our fabulous G1-G6 students joining IBSC, the science fair became a G6-G11 event. In addition, students also started to develop academic interests in both computer science and social science fields. Hence, we added up technology and psychology groups for students to fully demonstrate their research abilities and talents.

This year, we are honored to have so far collected more than 55 works from G6-G11 students. Also, we want to give acknowledgement to G6-G8 middle school students that have tried all their best in completing their own science fair project, we divided students into G6-G8 junior section and G9-G12 high school section.
