✨ Online School Mode 5/23-5/27 Notice✨

Dear IBSC parents,

With rapid uprising of COVID-19 confirmed cases, Taichung city government announced the online school policy earlier this afternoon.

✔️IBSC will turn to online learning mode from 5/23-5/27.
✔️G6 and G9 students still need to come back to school after 5/27.

✔️ Students that need to come to school should register to homeroom teachers tomorrow. They may still come to school next week if necessary( eg. Graduation ceremony preparation, AP exception exam, etc). Students that are categorized as close contact still have to report to homeroom teachers.
✔️International week and other planned activities will be postponed.
✔️After school program ( debate, dance, martial arts, and robotics) will have no class next week.

🌸 Tomorrow during the homeroom hour, teachers will survey on the following things,

• Equipment ( please also help us make sure the internet signal at home). Students may borrow device from school as long as they agree to comply with our device borrowing policy).
• Whether or not students need to come to school next week. Hence, parents please tell your kid(s) related information so that we may record them down at once.

🌸 School will cancel lunch for everyone. For students that have to come to school, they need to pay cash first( meal by meal).

🌸 The dorm will be closed next week. High school students please pack your belongings and leave the dorm tomorrow.

💐 Students should pack all their personal belongings tomorrow.
💐Online learning instructions were given to teachers this evening. Just follow the instructions and help your kid(s) log in to each section.

💊 Middle to high school students will receive their third dose of vaccination on 6/9. Elementary school students may also choose to receive first dose of vaccination in IBSC. The parental consent form will be given to each kid tomorrow.

There might still be more instructions coming from school on the school website, please remember to browse over the website often and keep up with latest news. We may also post information on our Facebook fan page.
The administration office will remain regular office schedule, if you have further questions, you may contact us during office time.
